Hey all,
Being the techno-nerd I am, I installed a Kenwood KDC-322 HU, and a Kenwood SIRIUS tuner setup in my X today.
Went with SIRIUS 'cause I like the commercial free radio. I'm very happy with it so far.
Also, if anyone is planning an install, I have a quick tip. Since I don't use it, I removed the factory amp ( I bypass it ), and used the amp mounting bracket to mount the kenwood SIRIUS tuner. I just inveted the mounting clamps to fit onto the bracket, and to my shock, it fit !!! Drilled 2 holes, mounted it and re-installed the bracket. Nice, clean and easy.
It also allows me to easily attach a Kenwood CD Changer below the pasenger ( F/R ) seat, as the cables are right there.
I'm sure I'm not the first to do this, but hey, I feel special. And that's all that matters .....
