My GPS in my 2011 Expedition just stopped working one day. All of my previous addresses are still in tact but there are no maps. The No GPS symbol is in the upper left corner of the screen and the clock is blank. I stopped by a dealer who said maybe I need an update. Anybody have this same issue or suggestions on where to start?

Reboot the computer. Easiest way is to pull the negative battery cable for a couple minutes. My son did this with his 2011 F150 because the blue tooth quit. All the settings in his MFT stayed the same. Blue tooth came back.

Thanks,

I have tried that and it didn't work. That was my first attempt. Thanks for your reply.

Hi steveooflahonda,

That indicates you're not getting a good GPS signal and it'll need to be diagnosed and corrected by your dealership. Unfortunately, I can't speculate on what exactly is causing this, but generally a SYNC or map update won't correct this. Let me know how it goes!
