Does your dvd player have an auxilary input on it?

Well if it has an aux. input. It should be as simple as finding a connection piece to your dvd player from your gps unit. The dvd player if I am correct should then send the signal to the tv from the aux input when you switch the setting from dvd to aux.

WORD!

Like CPL says...the only 'gotcha' would be if you had a touchscreen--and needed the 'touchscreen functionality' with the GPS. You would NOT get that without a unit made for your touchscreen. Other than that--you'd get everything else.
