I have a grease gun with a needle insert and I was wondering if it will hurt the ball joints to grease them? What I mean is, will I overfill them? I did it on the upper ball joint on the drivers side and it stopped ssqueeking, but some excess grease seeped out of the boot afterwards. I guess what I want to know is will it hurt the ball joints that don't have a squeek to grease them up?

you want to grease them till the grease starts to squirt out of the boot, that way you know you got the air out and pushed the grease all the way through.

If you are referring to greasing non-serviceable ball joints, this will only work as a temporary fix. The squeeking is because the ball joint is wearing out. Greasing it will only cover up the problem.

nope just make sure the rubber boot is sealed up on there and ur all good

I did mine the other day. I wasn't expecting them to squirt the grease out as far as it did. Looked like they were taking a piss on my shop floor haha
