Great deal on TC

Has any one ever purchased anything from Affordable Powertrain...i can get a certified used TC shipped for $395.00

seems reasonable, but i've found ReMans for $850, shipping gotta cost you though.
See if a local junkyard might match that price? Save on shipping.

That $395.00 is shipped. I called two junk yards around here one used 44k for $400 and another for $425.00 i think i am going to get a used one local so i dont have to wait or worry about the cheap one being bad. Goes to Ford tues to diagnose the issue to make sure its the TC. The plase that has the one for $400 can get me a reman one for $650

TC as in torque converter, or transfer case --- ouuu the plot thickens, don don donNNN.

ahh ha, good question, i just assumed op meant TransferCase, . . . .hopfully so,
i'd be leaning toward the ReMan if i could swing it. . .kits for rebuilding 'TransferCases' seals, bearings, and maybe a chain, run about $200 or so.
maybe go and take a look see. . .

I have seen them on ebay out of parted out vehicles from $200 to 500.

I got one for my '98 off e-bay for $50, brother just happen to be making trip near seller so I paid nothing on shipping. I don't run into deals like that very often but they are out there.
