Green color liquid from the high side of A/C charge port

Today, I tried to check the A/C pressure using a gauge. When I attached the red cable to the high side, may be I was a little slow, there is some green colored liquid coming out. Once the hose is securely attached, it stopped. I just wonder what could be that. Couple years ago, my A/C was checked and recharged by mechanic. I wonder what kind of liquid that was put in.

As he said its ac dye and lubricant. Stuff sucks when you get it on your hands.
 






That is good to know. Thanks! I thought that sc dye can't be seen unless using a special glass.
 






If you use the "special light" (a UV light and tinted glasses) even small traces of the dye will literally glow and be extremely easy to see.
