Hey guys

I have a black Westin Safari light bar on order and want to put some lights on it. I am leaning towards hi intensity yellow as the 'fog' lights on my 02 X sport are white. What brands are good/bad? What should I look for in lights? Any other tips/advice is appreciated.

Thanks

Scott

I feel like yellow would be really annoying to drive with. I'd go with PIAA as the brand. I have them on my rig and have nothing but good things to say. Got the round 50 off-roads lights. Initially had them mounted on my grill guard when I had that, now they're on the bumper. Pictures are in my sig link.

I have driven a car before with yellow fog lights during bad weather and it didn't bother me. I do live in a major city so they would they wouldn't be used all the time, 3 pairs of lights is a bit much for most conditions.

Nice ride, how did you run the wiring for your lights into the car and out the console. I have been trying to figure out how ill wire the lights I don't have yet.

For which lights? My roof rack lights run into the door, along the weather striping, under the rug and up into the console. My round bumper mounted PIAAs run from the lights to a relay in the engine compartment and then the switch runs through the firewall (slit a rubber grommet and slipped the wire through, and into the console.

Sorry I should have been more clear, its the PIAA bumper lights I was interested in. I'm not sure where I would mount the switch inside but couldn't find the firewall on my sport. All the wires running into the dash had hard plastic around them. Where was the firewall on your car.

Follow the hood release cable to where it goes through the firewall and drill a hole in the rubber grommet that the hood release cable passes through. Push a coat hanger through the drilled hole and tape the switch wires to it and pull the wires back into the passenger compartment.
