I've recently traded my Chevy POS for apparently a Ford Explorer POS. The vehicle did not make it back to the ranch and I did a late nite tow to get it here.
The truck will not go into gear and make a horrible grinding (gears) noise. I serviced the Range Selector(RS) switch (alternately called the Manual lever Position (MLP) sensor or possibly the Neutral Safety Switch I wished they'd decide on one) which did improve the noise but still No Va..I suspect the transfer case but do not wish to go down any wrong roads (again) any help would be greatly appreciated..Peace
This vehicle has an automatic transmission 5R55E C6 AOD
