what does it mean when i shut off my car and there is a gurgleing noise that kinda sounds like it is coming from behind the firewall. i have no idea what it is and was wondering if anyone had any ideas. thanx for the input.

Do you ever have a problem on cold starts? (2 tries to start or longer than usual cranking). It may be the check valve in your gas tank allowing gas to pour back in, I have this problem but since the fuel pump otherwise works fine have left it alone. If you can trace this noise to near the tank it may be your cause. Or it is possible that you are boiling your coolant due to an improper mixture. Or it may even be as simple as your a/c condenser circulating coolant for a few secs after you shut down. Turn your heater controll to off a few mins before you shut the ex off and see if it goes away.
