In my user manual (can't think what else to call it) it says I have fog lights which use H-3 bulbs, but I disagree. The book is the one that came with the truck and has '93 printed on it. But no where on my truck at the front can I see where these bulbs are, I can find my parking, signal and head bulbs, but that is all I have. Is this a bulb that is only on certain models. I have the XLT.

Thanks

ahh the mystery h3 bulb! The bulb that every single ford explorer manual says you have but that I haven't seen on one single explorer yet :). If you've got factory fogs you've got 899 bulbs, not H3, the two are completely different. not sure how that made it past the proofreaders for 10 years straight...

hmmmm.... I'm still lost. Where are the fog lights? I see my turn signals, my parking lamps and my head lights. But that's all.

well not all explorers have fog lights. If you don't have fog lights then you don't have any bulbs. If you've got fog lights, they'll be below your headlights on the underside of your bumper.

actually, my explorer really DOES have the H3 foglights. I talked to a parts guy at the local ford dealership and he said there are like 3 different fog light assemblies.. Limited's do come with H3's though
