Pleases help! need this vehicle to get to work Monday!

2000 Ford Explorer 4WD

I was coming home today, and there was a small "pop" sound, from under the truck, driver side, i was traveling about 5-10 MPH, with in seconds of hearing the "pop" sound. It was nearly impossible to go forward. The wheel ( i think driver side) started acting crazy. Almost a jerking, felt as if it was going to fall off. I went in reverse, and no problem, i drove the rest of the way through my neighborhood backwards.

Upon arriving in front of my driveway. My wife drove it slowly and it (driver side tire) seems to be getting stuck, like it is binding the releasing, then binding, then releasing. Any suggestions on what this might be.

Cv joint 1/2 shaft on driver side was just replaced 2 weeks ago.

Take off your wheel and check your caliper bolts. One probably came out.

Thanks a million man. I never would have guessed that! I was in Panic mode.

Now all i have to do is find it, should be near where i heard the pop i assume.
Next step is a cab ride to the Auto parts store.
