Handle Behind Parking Brake?

I have a 98 sport. I was looking under the dash the other day, and behind the parking brake, there is a bundle of wires that goes up into the firewall. At the lower end of the wire bundle, there is a narrow plastic box with a handle on it. Does anyone know what that's for?

It's the handle for pulling the wiring harness block out of the firewall. I believe you need to unbolt before you can separate it.

Ok, thanks. I don't plan on pulling any wires, I just wondered what it was for.
