Do you have to have the handles shaved to install door poppers or can you keep the handles and still have the poppers and the handles still be functional?

u would need the solenoid, and then poppers. i dont see why u would do that though. just shave it

If you still want the handle to work AND have poppers, it would take quite a bit of work. Also, there really is no advantage to doing it this way.

I was just curious to know if it would work.
When you shave the handles do you have to get the whole car painted for it to match or can a shop paint the areas to match? Has anyone done this and what do you think prices would be?

u basically do body work and then paint thedoors. why would u paint the whole car? unless u wanted to paint it aidfferent color, but u can just buy factory matching paint and after you sanded down the doors, paint it

You can still have the handles along with the poppers, not sure why you would wanna do that tho. Usually the part of the door handle gets primed and then blended to match the rest of the door.
