I have a 98 Sport, Rides hard, I've tried new shocks, tires same thing. Any way to soften the ride?

What are you running for air pressure in your tires?

I am running 32 lbs as per tire spec. I'm thinking bushings, I get that "Hard Shock" when I hit a bump, like bottom out.

Well not meaning to anger anyone. But the explorers are not known for a not soft ride.

Not being mean, shocks help a bit with control/lean but it didn’t help at all with the ride. In fact its slightly more stiff now than when I had bad shocks. I have over time replaced most everything to do with the suspension, but while handling has improved the ride from bumps has not..

I’ve gotten used to the ride over 3 years now. And I personally like the stiff ride. Makes me know what I am doing at all times.

Explorers ride rough. Short of losing the t bar suspension, your choices are pretty limited. I suppose a softer t bar might be available, but you'd probably want to upgrade your sway bar if you did. The white sticker on the drivers door will tell you what stiffness t bars you have. They have a few options stock.
