Any ideas on why I have trouble only re-starting my engine when it's raining, engine is hot, engine turned off for a short time, then when re-started it runs real rough and then stalls when given gas or stumbles and stalls without extra gas. Wait two minutes and it starts fine like nothing ever happened and runs great again!
I tried to cure the problem with new plugs and wires (Bosch Platinum +4 and Magnecor KV85) which improved general smoothness, but did not cure this wet stumbling on hot re-starts problem.

Help!

This happens only when its raining?

Yes, only when it's raining. Not always, though and not when the car is cold or has been off for awhile.

Sure sounds like a stuck IAC (working itself un-stuck when left alone for a little while). The Idle Air Control is mounted to your Throttle body. Check the haynes, easy to remove and sounds like yours just needs a good squirt of TB Cleaner. Once you get it off, you will see what I mean about the sticking.
