hard to the right!

I have a 2002 explorer limited. Just recently it has started grabbing hard and pulling to the right randomly while driving. Its pretty scarey, especially when going 65 on the interstate. When it does this the alignment is off and I feel like the wheel has to be held at a 45° angle to keep straight. What could this be? Thank you for your help.

Jack up the car, grab your front wheels and see if they move. If you have a bad wheel bearing that has visible play in it, you need to stop driving your Ex until it's fixed. Unless you wish to see what driving with three wheels is like.

If the bearings don't move, you may have a brake or ball joint issue.

Keep the ball joints in mind when moving the wheels. Don't mistake bad ball joints for bearings.
