OK...I have been able to remove the crank bolt, but the puller kit AutoZone rented to me does not have the correct length bolts to fit my HB. Does anybody know a puller kit that will fit ?

You and I are in the same boat, You have to get M8-1.25-100mm bolts. I got mine from Ace hardware. Still cant get the balancer off though

Wow, you dug up an old post I had totally forgotten about. I eventually solved the problem with a puller kit from Harbor Freight...it's the Pittsburgh Bolt Puller Set, Item #37824, with 46 pieces. Good Luck.:us:

Thanks, sorry for taking so long to answer back, been pretty busy. I am going today to get the bolts and hopefully everything goes well. I have to get the timing chain cover off to replace the gasket. Two mechanics told me those long bolts snap off really easy so this should be interesting. Any tips?

balancer

The bolt of the puller that i have will not fit through the balancer bolt hole. so i had to leave the crankshaft bolt threaded in a few threads and push against it with the puller. Once the balancer comes off to where it touches the crankshaft bolt the puller and crankshaft bolt can be removed and the balancer will come off.
