Harness adapters?

i was curious if they made harness adaptors to fit a 99 factory Hu into a 96 explorer? If so, where might you get them?

If all the colors of the wires match you don't need no stinkin harness or an adapter. go buy some wire nuts at your local hardware store or if you're really cheap you can use electrical tape.

they dont match up. the 96 has an external amp to power the speakers. the 99 has the amp built in.

this is only true on the tape players with cd controls, not just the standard '96 tape player
