Has anybody heard of?

Just bought used 03 Sport last week in good shape. It did not come with any key fobs, so I ordered from remotes4less, two fobs. I tried the programming mode as instructed to program the fob's and it didn't work, the vehicle will not even go into programming mode. I took it by the ford dealership in which they tried also and then told me that some version of the Sport did not come with the option of the keyless fob. Has anyone heard of this? If not I going to take it to another dealership to check it out. Thanks for any input

Yeah- you need to find out if your Sport had keyless entry to begin with... Do you have any keyless buttons on the outside of the drivers' side door?

No I did not just came with a key to open the doors and start the vehicle which I made an additional on. I just took it for granted that all vehicles could be programmed for a fob that why I bought them

How do you find out if the vehicle worked with a keyless fob to begin with? Thanks

I ordered 2 key fobs from same website for a 02 mercury mountaineer and programmed them JUST fine. than i ordered 2 for my friends 05 sport trac and it would not go into program mode like you said. my friend told me the remotes they used to have did not look like the ones i had. i think the dealer had put an after market alarm and keyless entry system on it cuz it would not work at all.

i ordered a second key for my mountaineer cuz it only came with one i got it cut and trying to find a place to program it for me. every place a got too wants min of 90 bucks just program damn thing. if i had 2 keys and needed to program a 3rd i can do it myself. but i guess ford makes it where you cant do it yourself unless you got 2 keys already. SUCKS dont really want to pay almost 100 bucks just to get it programed.
