Has anyone done the torsion bar lift?

Hi Guys... Someone here mentioned a modest lift by inverting or adjusting the torsion bars and adding an add-a-leaf to the rear. I would hope that might level off that rearward rake common on these Sports (mine's a '98). I was wondering if anyone here has done this lift and if they were happy with it. Maybe some pics? I'm not looking to do a huge, expensive lift, but just a modest one (2-3 inches). I'm kinda put-off by the $2500 price tags I'm seeing on lifts for the '95 and up Explorers.
