i read about getting about 2 inches of lift by tightening your torsion bars but when i went to do it on my 97 explorer sport one side was already close to max tighten wile the other side had much thread left...over all i only got 1 inch of lift one side maxed out with the other plenty of thread left...is this a problem and how can i fix it.....thanks

from the top of the tire to the wheel well it was 5 inches on both sides starting out and now its 6 on both sides so it is equal

Maybe this where I need to be lol.I to did the torsion bar lift. Now rear is sitting lower then front.Im having trouble getting the add-a-leafs for the rear.Does anyone know a part number or any info to level my suv out? Thanks in advance.95 explorer xlt.

Summit racing has the AAL. They are made by Explorer Pro-Comp & are $31.95

I don't know the part number. Just search Summit Racing's site.

AAL are universal fit by the way. Not custom made for each vehicle.

the part number is EXP-13120 on Summit

You could also go with some shackles instead.

Awesome,Thanks very much. The help here is GREAT.And I do have them on order. Thanks again to all.

Cybergasm,Right on man.Above and beyond.Thank you for the part number.

does anyone know where to get the extended bolts from?

You might try indexing the low side torsion key down a notch--

I have heard of them being miss indexed before--usually with the symptom you describe--
Just a thought--
