HAS ANYONE HEARD THE NEW BAZOOKA BASS IN A BOTTLE AND THE TUBE LOOKS LIKE A NITRIOUS BOTTLE AND A TWIN COOLED 8 INCH WOOFER. DO THESE TUBES HIT HARD OR DO THE 10 INCH RS SERIES BAZOOKAS SOUND BETTER? THEY DO LOOK COOL THOUGH PEOPLE WOULD THINK YOU HAVE NIOTRIOUS IN YOUR TRUCK BUT ACTUALLY IT IS A SUB. THIS IS A GOOD IDEA BUT I THINK A 10 INCH VERSION SHOULD BE OFFERED.

I heard from someone (maybe Leenjen?) that Bazooka tubes suck, and you should just get a reguler sub.

in comparison to REAL subs... crappy.. IMO, unless you want REALLY cheap, dont waste yer money

I don't know about these particular Bazookas, but I have a pair of the old style 10s (round tubes) in my BMW and they hit real hard. A lot of bang for the buck. The problem lies in the angle you have to mount them. They waste a lot of space as compared to a standard box, especially one molded into your vehicle.

It is a RS8 in those. I did one in a 2002 Mitubishi Eclipse. He wanted it because it match his NOS botttle. It sounded alright. The problem with Bazookas was they were initially designed for pickup trucks. They have to be loaded into a corner to get the best sound out of them. Not practical in most cars because they end up in some dumb place.

thanks for all the replies

In conclusion I decided to get a stealthobox or MTX Thunderform for my storage area and do these hit hard has anyone heard these units. I did not know this about bazooka subs. I am glad you guys filled me in and made my decision for me. Thanks again

I heard an MTX thunderform powered by a mtx 4122 amp and it sounded good and if keeping all the cargo area is important then it is really the way to go but for the price you can do a normal dual 10" setup that will hit alot harder.

Bigbadfred... What are you looking for? A regular system with some bass? Or a 10" competition sub?

I'd like to meet the guy who shoved the woofer into a "nitrous" bottle. And after I got through verbally berating him, I'd probably find the guy who said it would be a good idea to put it on the market for $250 plus. Who were the add wizards that came up with this crap?

I just want a after market radio which I have and some bass

I dont want competition bass just a little more bass than my stock premium sound system that came with the truck has. I want to hit a little harder than that does and less distortion with some tweeters in front will help with that. I am not looking for something that really hits hard but something that saves space and hits hard enough to be heard. I want to save space because I am always hauling stuff around and helping people move when they need it.:D

If you wanna save space check out MTX thunderforms before you buy anything bazooka makes.

Thanks for all the replies

I am either going towards the MTX Thunderform or the StealthBox by JL Audio because those subs hit hard. I am leaning towards the Stealth box or a Thunderform with a JL Audio Sub maybe the W3 if I get a good deal on it.
