Hey guys,
I just found a nice size rust hole under the rocker panel moulding and its really bugging me. I am not going to attempt to fix it myself cause I want it done the right way and I'm just not confident to do it myself. I was just wondering if anyone have had some rust repaired by a shop and if anyone could give me a ball park quote I'd really appreciate it. Thanks much!:feedback:

I don't know about your area, but that would go for around $800 - $1000 here I would think for parts and labor for both sides. I assume the other side looks exactly the same.

There are some really good threads on here for DIY body work that take a bit of the confusion away, but it still requires some specialty tools that not every garage has.

New dog leg, new rocker, cutting, sanding, welding, filling, and prep/paint is not gonna be to cheap at a body shop.

Thanks for the reply. The other side does have a rust hole but not nearly as bad. I was thinking about getting the parts myself and then having them do the labor but i'm not sure they would go for that? Would I need a new dog leg since its a sport? Sorry if that's a stupid question. I'm still learning here. I was thinking I would only need a new rocker panel?? Thanks again!
