Has anyone painted the black bars between the windows on a 4-door?

I was wondering if this has been done and how did it look. The bar is the one that seperates the front doors from the rear ones. It is a stock black. I was considering painting it red like my X, but then thought it might not look right so I thought I had better ask to make sure.

People have painted them Black with sucsess...I have never heard of a color though...

I redid mine with semi-gloss black spray paint. It looks alot better than it did before.

I have seen people on this BB do it, someone recently blue, I remember another one white. I like the idea and would like to do it also.

If I painted my mirrors and stuff, do you think it would look bad if I also painted those dividers? If so, then I may just do a carbon fiber on the mirrors and leave the dividers black. There are in good shape, just wondered why they left them black and no one has ever painted them. I guess I need to see a pic of someone's painted. I just don't have big ba!!s yet, LOL.

OK, not the best picture in the world, but it will have to do. Those bars that divide the windows, can someone photochop them from black to red please.

Ronnie, I thinkit would look great painted to match body.

LOL, call me chicken. But don't be surprised if I do it when I get the mirrors and windshild wiper plate painted. I am also trying desperately to find a Lund Wyndjammer for a 98 or some sort of spoiler/wing type to put on the rear. Lund does not have one listed for a 98 anywhere and of course we all know that getting one from a Saleen is impossible. I have the factory spoiler, but was a little disappointed in it. I want to get everything togeather so when I go to the paint shop, I don't have to make a hundred trips back and forth.
