The cover in the rear wiper has broken, since it is not there you can see the nut that holds it in place to the window. I have tried googling and looking at parts site but have no idea what this would be other than a cover and wanted to know if anybody knew if this was replaceable on its own..............does anybody know what im talking about............

No.

I just bought an 05 and it had the same issue. It was $8 at ford and it is not part of the assembly. They sold me the whole arm and it is sold as a stand alone part. It just snaps on. Easy to install.

Crash: So then what do i ask for, did you have a part number? I will have to maybe go by and ask about it then, $8 is doable..... did you end up buying the whole arm then cuz when i look online the whole arm never seesm to include that piece?

Maybe you could post a picture of what exactly is broken?

they have graphical parts catalogs online there- they should be able to pull up a picture of the wiper assembly and you can just point and say "this part" :D

thanks , i actaully just called ford and asked abotu the cover thing..lol. the guy gave me a part number and said it was $6.90 but it would take a couple days to get and i couldnt order over the phone had to go in person.....just wish it was something easier to find, what a mission...lol

joe dirt, thats exactly what i did with my escape and the door lock assembly that broke, i took off the thing and drove to the dealer and pointed, this is what i need....helped me right out...lol

atleast they found it first time around they sold me the whole arm and the part I needed was sold seperately I had to return and reorder
