91 Explorer, rolled over to 210,000 miles on Saturday... Original everything...
I've had it for about a year and 3 months, with no problems until recently. I've been really good about changing/checking/filling fluids and not driving like a maniac... Just about the only abuse it's taken is wheeling...
Lately, though, it's been losing power quick and there's a ticking sound coming from the engine, my power steering is very tight and makes kind of a grinding noise when I turn... My front brakes have been coming and going since yesterday morning...
I don't really want to pour a whole lot of money into a 210,000 mile old engine, especially since I'm going to college in a few months and need money for that... But the other problem is I don't really have money to get another vehicle... but I'd rather get something else if it's going to take a few hundred bucks to fix my truck... I don't see things getting any better with so many miles...
Any ideas? Should I try to fix it, or is it just getting old and dying quick???
