I'm having a lot of trouble getting my front driveshaft reinstalled. I have a 1997 Explorer Sport and it has the CV style front driveshaft. I'm specifically having trouble getting the ball bearings for the driveshaft on the T-case end to stay put to install the shaft. They keep falling out. There are 6 bearings and even though they have a retainer it either gets pushed into the CV boot or they just fall out. Should I just pack it full of grease or what? It's driving me crazy. Thanks for any suggestions.

I'd try packing them full of grease, it should help keep them in place, good luck.

Hmm, apparently I took apart the wrong portion. I've figured it out. Thanks
