DOES ANYONE KNOW A EASY WAY TO REMOVE THE HEAD BOLTS ON A 4.0 MOTOR // I HAVE THAT ANOYING LIFTER KNOCK, AND I TRIED AT THE WRECKERS TO GET A SET OFF AND THE BOLTS ARE SO TIGHT YOU WOULD THINK THAY ARE WELDED ON, ANY IDEAS TO GETTING THEM OFF A BIT EASIER???????????

A big bar. Just add a breaker bar to your wrench. I have a 5 foot bar that works wonders on all kinds of stuck bolts.

Heads dont cause the knock- its the rockers . Its not worth getting junkyard parts. (junkyard heads pre 94 should be avoided any way- they were prone to cracks) Do a search and you can find some rockers with hardened cups and arms to eliminate the wear.

Good Luck
