Head gasket antifreeze sealant

Has anyone had any acutual luck using a sealant/addivitve for a leaking head gasket? I know it's not the right way to fix it but I need to band-aid it for a bit. Thanks.

I normally don't use that stuff but honestly when my moms car had a leak (Nissan Altima 2.5L) I used the $22.99 bottle stuff and it has worked for the past 6 months. Saved me so far 2200 for them to put a new gasket kit in at the dealer. Is it a long term fix? Nope but just like you said, its a band aid fix for now till i get her in a new Hyundai.
