07 Sport Trac XLT
Hey, alright so first off, let me say that I have a 2007 Sport Trac XLT, and it has a standard radio, anyway I want to add a sub/ipod connection to it, and I want to keep the standard look of the car. (I really love it actually, I just got the car, and I love everything about the it) I'm just wondering if the 6L2T18C815 model (BTW: I really don't know the model number of the radio i have, all I know is that its the standard one no cd changer, no ipod connection just the standard one for the 2007 sport tracs) of the ford radio will be able to do both of those things I said. Thanks! :D

It depends on your HU having the ability to read from a cd changer. If there is no input at all on your system you should look into an after market unit as there will be no getting around this short of playing with days of soldering and a chance of frying everything completely.

Welcome to the forum!
Take a look at your HU model and look up the specs, you might be able to get an adapter

Hahaha eXcali why would he fry everything? I installed an 06 HU into my 02 XLT and didn't fry anything, my new HU has SAT and Aux (not used at the time) and my original one didn't so most anything can be done w/o frying!

alright, so if I look at the model i have, someone might sell an adapter that would make it work? and also... does the cd changer model have more plugs in the back of it, (i have taken out the one i have to look in the back, i think it has 3) so would there be one for like an aux iput and sub, or is that on the same cables as the others... (if someone knows that, it would be great!)

and thanks for the welcome :p:

No, just those 3 plugs, one for the main functions (the larger one) one for aux (cd changer, dvd, xm etc) and the small one for the sub

Go to ebay and search "explorer input" "explorer ipod input" and you'll get many hits, out of those check if one works with your stereo
To get the model you can pres 3+6 then release and press 6 again (not sure if that trick works on all HU's)
