Headers, and valve covers

Hey guys, got my engine finally to replace the one with teh cracked head, i want to make it nice and clean when i reinstall and was wondering 2 things. 1) what are we paying for Borlas headers nowadays? do we get any kinda group discount or what ever, does one of our benefactors have a sale going now? and 2) can i get crome or polished or any kind of NICE looking valve covers? 4.0 OHV? thanx, dodgerr

I'm not aware of any group purchcase or member discounts on the borla headers, new they seem to be going for as much as $460 but a set will usually pop up in the for sale trade and wanted section every couple of months for under $250. There are also other alternatives to borlas for the 4.0 OHV.

I also haven't seen any places that cater to dress-up parts for the 4.0, since you have 2 engines you might be able to get a set of valve covers chromed. I painted mine when I had the engine out and by the time I got all the crap back on the engine you can hardly see the valve covers.
