Headers

I HAVE A 1993 EXPLORER XLT AND I AM LOOKING INTO PUTTING ON HEADERS AND A CAT BACK SYSTEM ON IT. I AM INTERESTED IN THE BORLA CAT BACK BUT I WAS WONDERING IF THERE WERE ANY CHEAPER HEADERS THAN WHAT BORLA HAS THAT WORK ABOUT THE SAME? I LIKE THE BORLA STUFF BUT I DONT THINK I CAN HANDLE THE APPROX. $900 FOR BOTH.

I saw some 4 to 1 headers in Auto Krafters catalog for about $200. I don't know about the cat back stuff. You can get a catalog from http://www.autokrafters.com for $6....I know I hate paying for catalogs too. I haven't put headers on my explorer because it has enough power for me.

Pacesetter headers are alot less expensive, if you don't need the stainless steel. I run them and they make a huge difference. I also run a Dynomax cat-back exhaust. I think the headers run about $200 and the cat-back is $159.
