Well according to your post, I would have to say Borla - that's only b/c JBL makes speakers. JBA however, are supposed to be very good and in dyno test, vehicles have seen a range of 15-35hp gains. I am not positive on the Borla, but I believe they will give you 15hp.
I am thinking about the JBAs however, that will only come during rebuild time (have 130,000m)since I don't want to waste time/labor taking the engine out.
That's crazy. You don't have to remove the engine to install headers.
I installed my Borlas myself in about 10 hours (at a very leasurely pace). I could have probably shaved off a couple hours if it wasn't for beer... Dead Link Removed
I've also found that BBK makes Jet-hot coated headers for Explorers. Summit said that they have them in stock for $420. You might want to check them out too. I heard that Jet-hot reduces underhood temps by quite alot and protects headers from rust through.
