Headers?

Hey, I'm thinking about some Headers. I know they aren't really worth the price, but I'm looking more for sound. These add a much better sound, am I correct? Also, why didn't Ford make a straight pipe exhaust system? With all the curves in my Flowmaster outlet, it takes away a lot of sound.

Ford didn't make a straight pipe exhaust because the average driver wants a vehicle that is as quiet as possible.

They don't change the sound that much.

And you don't have a straight system because of that little thing called a rear axle
