- 2008 Ford Ranger XLT
My 2008 Ranger XLT headlights, radio, and door locks do not work all the time. Sometimes I hit a bump on the road and these come back on. But a while later these go out again. All fuses are good. The Ford dealer said I had a faulty Body Control Module. That it had no voltage. Where is it located? Behind the passenger side fuse panel or behind the radiio? How do I remove the radio? It seems to be a ground problem to me. Before I spend anther $92 for troubleshooting or $457 for part and installation I would like to make sure. The body control module alone is $199 at Ford. Does somebody else sell it? May it be the body control module connector and not the mdule?
