Headlight switch 2002 ford explorer

How do you remove the headlight switch assembly on a 2002 ford explorer.
I know some models heve a slot in the knob, to insert a screwdriver and push,,but my explorer has no slot in the headlight switch... What's the secret?

I have spent the past several hours looking for online info on removing your headlight switch, but so far have had no luck. I've posted the question on a couple of other automotive forums, but have not yet received an answer.

If you don't have a Chilton's or Motor (or other) repair manual for your Explorer, you might want to check the local auto parts store, or maybe the library to take a peek and see if they include the secret to removing your headlight switch.
