I think this is a new one. Trying to diagnose my door ajar problem I finally noticed that the headlight switch signals the door ajar system. I didn't notice before since I kept the lights in auto mode. Now my question is whether you professionals think it's the headlight switch or something else in circuit? In keeping cost down i really don't want to order another switch if it's not broken
So, i have replaced the headlight switch however the problem continues. I tried removing the fuse block behind the steering wheel to better track the circuits affecting the door ajar and headlight/ taillight. But I quickly realized it's no easy task.
