Heat only works on high

I have an o1 explorer sport and the heat only works when i put it on 4 and it dosent work on 1,2, or 3. I replaced the switch behind the knob and that didnt work. I need help.

Check the blower motor's resistor.

I put a new one on and it keeps doing the same thing

Break out ye ol' voltmeter, move the switch to one of the positions that doesnt work, and find out where the voltage is being disrupted.

Ok, i will try that, some one said to check the realy so iam checking it now

Switch could be bad and the wiring melts sometimes at the resistor and the switch.

i already changed the switch and its still doing it.
