my 01 sportie has developed a situation where no matter what I set the heater knobs I get heat all the time.I was looking at the vacuum line that goes onto some type of an actuator on one of the heater hoses that are coming from the area of the water pump,im thinking that is what allows the water to enter the heater core.that vacuum line has no vacuum regardless of where the knobs in the cab are set to.Am I wrong in thinking that that actuator is what allows water into the heater core? and shouldnt vacuum be present?
