I have done that to my Ranger without any problems.

YES, considering
~ Engine+Coolant is Cold for several minutes after a ColdStart.
~ Coolant flow is zero thru PCVCoolantLoop unless & until CabHeat turned on & HeaterControlValve opens.
Requires deleting\removing
~ PCVCoolantOxBow 5/16"ID on PCVValve at rear of left ValveCover.
~ PCVCoolantPlasticTee 5/8*5/16*5/8"ID in the HeaterCoolantLoop near FireWall.
~ PCVCoolantSteelTeeAssembly 5/8*5/16*5/8"ID in the HeaterCoolantLoop bolted to right side of Engine+ValveCover.
~ PCVCoolantLoop 5/16"ID HoseBarbs ground off of PCVCoolantHeatExchanger on right side of IntakeManifold throat.
~ PCVCoolantLoop 5/16"ID Hoses associated with above items.

PCVValve FordMotorCraft# ev268, 5/16"ID CoolantOxbow can be easily removed.

Optionally, it may be possible to install an ElectricallyHeated PCVValve FordMotorCraft# 3f2z-6a666-aa
with addition of a TimeDelayOff relay that switches it ON at EngineStart, then switches OFF 2~3min later.
