heated seats and cruise control

Hi All..
been lurking for a few weeks and just ran into something
with my new to me 04 sport trac it has 41000 miles.
i got it sept 1st and after a few days i noticed that every once in a while the heated seats would turn on by themselves,at first i thought it was me getting into the truck and hitting the switch (which is in a bad place imho) but after a few weeks of watching how i got in, i found that the seats were coming on themselves.
is there a setting or something to stop this? or is something wrong somewhere.
also i have noticed that the cruise control will not work sometimes..sometimes when i try to turn it on the light will flick on and off. and other times it will just work fine.
any one else have these problems

hmmm I seem to have the same problem with my 05 Adrenalin. I thought it was me getting in and out of the truck but I know I'm not even close to touching it.

the heated seats are great but not when the temp is in the upper 90s and humid.
if the cruise stops working i found that if i pull over and shut off the truck and restart it, it works fine.

anybody have any ideas?

I have the exact same issue with my cruise control, but only when it is cold out (winter).

After driving for a while, and the car warms up, cruise control works fine for me.
