I got caught in a mini blizzard tonight and wouldn't you know it my heater core soiled the bedding. How do you get to it? Inside or outside. I have a 94 3.0 A/C. I love this truck. Been stuck a few times but I live in a rough area. I like this site too.
Thanks,
Brian

You have small bolts around the cover of the heater core. You have to climb under the glove box to remove this cover. The heater core lines require a special tool to disengage the hoses. They are located in the area near the blower motor.

Thanks for the reply. Can I rent that tool? What is the tools name?

You might be able to get it in Autozone from their tool loaning program. I have one, and they are not cheap. Here's a link to show you what it looks like: http://www.amazon.com/Heater-Hose-Disconnect-Tool-T85T-18539-AH/dp/B000H6P07A
