The port is installed now, I am putting a raised punisher skull coming out of the inside of the cavern. The template is turned upside down in the picture.

Let me know what you guys think!!!

Very nice so far. Keep up the work...

What are you tuning the box to?

Also what brand subs and amps are you running

Intresting...

those look like memphis subs

I am going to be running 4 Memphis mojo 15"s on 4 MA audio 4400's with the box tuned at about 36hz for the low bass!

today was kind of a slow day here because of it being christmas eve and all. I still did a little bit when I could get away from the family. As you all may know I decided to put a raised punisher skull coming out of the center of the box. So I cut some wax paper and stretched it over a my shirt with the punisher on it and traced it. The sprayed adhesive on cardboard and stuck the wax paper to it. After that dried good I got my scissors and cut the cardboard in the shape of it. Then traced in on 3/4 mdf and cut it out with my jigsaw. After some sanding with 60 grit sand paper to smooth off the edges it is looking awesome!

I also started my fiberglassing today to. We didn't have a lot here though. Overall though I used a gallon of resin and 3 packs of fiberglass cloth. on the front alone.

Yeah its big, hopefully big enough to put a hurtin on my ears and anyone riding three lanes beside me. Haha seriously though I am going to start back work on it tomorrow. I need about 4 to 5 more gallons of resin about 13 more packs of or fiberglass cloth.

I guess if this is what ur into, its big, but I guess its not my thing and in my opinion ruins a very nice looking mountaineer into making it look like a Getto mobile.

to each there own

thats a sick-ass guitar hero controller

better be an expert to use that one :D

but the box project is coming along nicely too.......

appreciate the input guys. thanks for the compliments of the guitar. As for the project, I,ve been a little lazy with the christmas thing the past two days. Today I started back on it at about 5 or so. I put in another 2 gallons of resin and a ton of fiberglass cloth! To clean up the naked metal in the back of the truck I applied dynamat over the metal that will be showing for a cleaner and more professional look.I stopped by advanced and picked up some herculiner and a pretty sweet little set heat lamps too. Here some pics of it as of right now.

Very nice work man

when i did my fiberglass on the inside of my box i had to have it ready for a car show/dbdrag and we put it in the truck while drying and shut the doors. Man you could get crazy driving it for days after that

we did that on this box.

its funny too because when people would get in they would immediatly say" what the smell?". Know what you mean about the trippin out on resin . lookin like

Are those 6x8s in the first pic?

Did you remove the door speakers or are those additional speakers? If additional, where do you plan on locating them? Thanks!

These are pioneer rev 5x7's, they are in peices of black abs plastic that I cut out to fit right under the rear seats facing out. They sound pretty good on the JL 300/4.

well it is complete. Yesterday we attached the back wall and finished fiberglassing. Last nite we cut out the sealer boards and fit them. Today we filled any gaps around the box with expanding foam and rhino lined the box. Here are a few pics.
