2004 ford explorer xlt
Hello everyone, so i just joined this group in hopes of someone being able to help me. Ive got a 2004 explorer xlt with manual climate control. The problem ive been experiencing is when i turn on the heat its warm on the drivers side and hot on the passengers side and when i have it on defrost it comes out warm on the dash but hot by the feet. Its the same when i have the a/c on its warm on drivers side and cold on passengers. When it first started doing it i took it to the ford stealership to have them look at it and they told me it was my blend door and i needed a coolant flush. So i ended up doing a coolant flush and getting a new blend door and its still the same. I must add they charged me an arm and a leg. Anyways i checked my recirc door and its fine and changed thermostat. This has me stumped so im hoping someone can help me.

Uh, not so sure, but if you paid something close to $1400 for the blend door at the dealer and that didn't fix it, I'd be inclined to seek a refund.

I'm not aware of the manuals having a dual climate setup. Sounds odd.
Assuming you paid the dealer to do the work, I'd take it back and say wtf?

I paid 100$ for the blend door and i did the work myself. Nope i dont have dual climate control
