I've had a set of hedmanns on my Explorer for two years, and they fit great. I wrapped them in insulating tape, and used aftermarket copper collector gaskets. Never had any problems with them.

I wouldn't suggest buying JBA headers unless you've got some serious cash to throw around. The hedmanns are essentially JBA's without the ceramic coating. The dimensions and tube sizes are identical.

I've been considering headers for 5 years now and now that I'm building a motor I decided to invest in them. IMO, buy quality with a warranty. I never want to have to replace the headers once they're in there. If your going to have the vehicle for a long time, (4+ yrs) go with stainless or coated throughout the exhaust and you'll never have to buy it again.:redexp:
