Hello and Happy Holidays

Hello to all of my fellow Explorer owners. I've actually been a member for almost two years but this is my first post. I've had my 95 Limited for almost ten years now and it's been pretty much bullet-proof. The air ride system finally gave up the ghost so I replaced the shocks with non-air replacements and installed an add-a-leaf kit in the rear. The car rides great and the height is the same as stock. It has 183K on it now and just I just completed a 600 mile road trip with no problems. Yes, I've had some of the common issues like bad ball joints, the message center left headlight out problem, and some other small annoyances but it's been super dependable overall. Once again, Hello and Happy Holidays!

Welcome To Explorer Forum! Holy Moly! 2 years of silence with a membership! Now that you've spoken you'll want to post more and speak with others. Any plans for the truck?

No real plans other than to keep it maintained and keep driving it daily. I did just get a letter about the speed control switch recall so I guess I'll have to get it into Ford for the repair. I'll try to post a pic but it's nothing special, just a decent looking 16 year old Explorer that has restored my faith in Ford.
