First let me start by saying Hello..and thank You for allowing me to join ur forum.. I hope to have alot of good things to say about my 1999 Ford Ranger 3.0 V6 , which I just bought today.. Im already having an issue with it.. It seems that it accerates very choppy and seems to really be an excessive amount of road noise when applying gas.. this is especially noticeable at 65 mph and over.. it also pings ..which I know is probaly due to low grade gas.. but it seems that it should shift way smoother then it does..On the highway ..it almost seems like it stays stuck in third.. Iv only just got the truck..but I pray Im not in for a long expensive ride.. It was between this and a Toyota Tacoma..I pray i do not kick myself for this purchase!! Do any of u know what I can do or if this is just the way these trucks ride?? Thanks Marko:u
