Hello everyone!!! Transmission question?????

Hi Everyone
im new to the forum and have a question. my vehicle is a 96xlt 4.0 auto 4x4
A year ago the flywheel broke and i had to replace the flywheel, torque converter cause the piece that goes into the spacer was bent and the spacer, got the info from here to get the thicker flywheel and the torque converter from auto zone. all back together started fine but now i have no reverse or forward! called a dealer and they think that from sitting that the seals could have blown out. what do you guys think.

i did make sure that the converter was seated right.

Welcome to this forum! I've moved your thread to the transmission section. Did you check the fluid level?

yep was a little high. but i didnt think high enough to make a difference like that. this is my first ford truck are these tranny's more sensitive to fluid leves? any more idea's?

Check the pressure in all of the gear ranges with a 0-300 PSI test gauge.

Where do I need to connect the pressure gauge?
