Hi All - new member here, in Loudoun County VA. I just got a new 2016 Explorer Sport in the charcoal grey color. Traded in my Audi Q5 which was wonderful and had 200K+ miles on but was costing me a fortune to maintain! I use my Explorer as a daily commuter. I live on a horse farm and the last few miles of road are gravel and tend to get very dusty in summer and very muddy in winter. I'm sure I'll be asking questions in the future about tire choices, etc. For right now my immediate plans are to investigate some of the performance chips as well as K&N style air intakes. I'm not interested in racing this thing, just like to have a few extra horses to set me apart from the soccer moms (no offense to all you lovely soccer moms!). I spent many years working for Uncle Sam and currently do contract work for the government. Many of the government vehicles I drive and work around have performance mods by Livernois. Wonder if anyone out there has strong opinions on their stuff? And yes, I'll do my research on the board archives before getting into details! Thanks all!
