Good morning from the Pacific Northwest, I am very excited to join this forum of enthusiasts. My name is Aaron, it's been a while since I've been on a forum-based group, happy to be back on the platform. A little about me, I've been working in the automotive industry for the past 8 years, currently working at a Volkswagen dealership in the parts department for the past two years, I have always had a passion for cars, but Volkswagen always has a special place with me.
I have a really "strange" love of 90's minivans (Previa / Lumina APV / Trans Sport) and came across (finally) a really clean 1993 Ford Aerostar XL! I picked this up for $600, and it needs some love, but it's REALLY CLEAN. 214k miles with the 3.0, RWD AUTO. I'll be using the Aerostar section for sure, but I'll save the questions until I post there. I had a 2001 Ford Ranger for 5 yeas, from 200K - 305K with the 3.0 also, and that was a really awesome truck. (I looked in FRF, and they don't have an Aerostar section!) I'm not really sure what my plans are for the van, but I can't wait to go camping! I drove it the 102 mile commute (round trip) to work and back yesterday, flawless.
My other car is a 2017 Volkswagen GLI, 2.0T, 6 speed manual. Lowered with intake, exhaust, tint. Really fun car.
